“Set up your new blog in 10 minutes” it said.
“Have you launched your new blog?” they ask.
“Do you have any hair left??” you should ask!
Did I read somewhere that setting up a blog was easy? (I doubt it…probably just a dream) And has anyone else noticed that some of the tutorials are filled with lingo that, to a newbie blogger, make no sense at all?? Menu? Slider? Stats? JetPack…so I’m a little overwhelmed. Can you tell?
I thought I knew something about computers…I do not. At least not about setting up a blog. But I’m learning and trying not to get too frustrated in the process (emphasis on the word “too”).
I won’t mention that I had to “live chat” with Hostgator a couple of times (they’re the best!) and in the end they had to completely reset my blog because of a few “small” changes I had made. My only consolation was that I hadn’t gotten very far with it yet and starting over was just a good idea. :0)
With this week quickly filling itself up, I’m hoping to catch little bits of time here and there to come here and finish setting things up and making my blog look pretty. Baby steps. One day at a time. One tutorial at a time.
This morning I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise from a gracious, merciful Heavenly Father. A sweet way to start the day. So off I go, looking for little sweet things, sugar wumps, that I can bring to share.
